It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Brighton Academy! We are having a door decorating contest this next week that all parent's will vote on. The teachers and students alike worked hard all week decorating their doors, and did a fantastic job. Be sure to check out all of the photos on our facebook page!
Today was Barn Yard Fun at Brighton. The teachers had fun activities lined up all day that taught the children about barn yard animals. The children and teachers alike, had fun dressing up for this special day as well.
The children celebrated Thankgiving this past week in their classrooms. They worked hard making Pilgrim & Indian outfits, then were able to parade them around to the other classes before feasting together. It was a great learning experience on what Thanksgiving is all about, as well as a fun day for all!
The Giggle Bus now visits Brighton Academy once a week. It is a renovated school bus that is filled with fun physical activities for the children. From a zipline, to a rockwall, to monkey bars, to a stationary bike, this bus has it all!
The Woodlands Fire Department came for a visit to teach the children about fire safety, as well as to teach them all about a fire truck! The children were all given hats at the end of the visit, and had a very fun-filled day!
