Splash Day & Kona Ice!

The children had such a wonderful time at our first Splash Day of the summer!  There was lots of water play, bubbles, sand tables and side walk chalk, along with a great snow cone from Kona Ice.  Looking forward to many more days like this over the next couple of months.  We love summer with the kids at Brighton!

Splash Day Tomorrow!

Tomorrow is our 1st splash day of the Summer! Kona Ice will be there providing delicious shaved ice, and we will have lots of water play. And....to honor our dads for Father's Day, it is also "Wear a Tie to School Day!" Looking forward to lots of fun as we kick the summer off right!

2013 Brighton Graduates!

Congratulations to our Pre-Kindergarten class of 2013 whom graduated this past Friday.  We are so incredibly proud of each one of you, and all that you accomplished this year.  We wish you all the best as you transition to kindergarten this next year, and will truly miss seeing each and everyone of your precious faces at Brighton!  Be sure to come back and visit us this next year!

Teacher Appreciation Week!

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week! We are so blessed to have such a wonderful teaching staff at Brighton, who love, cherish, teach & have fun with all of the children under their care. Please let your teacher know how much you appreciate them this week. We love our teachers at Brighton....thank you for all that you do each and every day!!

St. Jude's Trike-A-Thon

Our 4th Annual St. Jude's Trike-A-Thon this past Friday was a great success. The Trike-A-Thon is a fun, week-long safety curriculum and fundraising program that supports St. Jude. This program allows us to teach the children valuable riding-toy safety lessons, and allows them to bring their riding toys to school to celebrate the lessons they have learned and their fundraising success for St. Jude. Our families raised more money to give to St. Jude's Research this year than in any previous year. We love our families at Brighton & truly appreciate their generous hearts!

Day Without Shoes!

Today, the children are participating in "TOMS: One Day Without Shoes," in order to bring awareness of the impact a pair of shoes can have on a child's life, by taking off our own. Why shoes? In developing countries, millions of children grow up without shoes and are at risk of injury and disease. Shoes are a critical first step toward health and access to education. Today provides a great learning experience for all of the children at Brighton!
