"Transportation Sation"

November has been all about "Transportation" here at Brighton Academy. The theme for the month for our curriculum is "Transportation Station." The children had a special treat when the police department came and educated them on the importance of their job, as well as allowed the children the opportunity to see what a real police car looks like inside. Later this month, the fire department will be bringing by their truck for the children to explore, while the fire fighters share what their day is like at the fire station. At Brighton, we always strive to create great opportunities for the children to help further their education and knowledge of the world around them.

Open House for Brighton!

 Tomorrow night, October 6th, we are having an open house at Brighton Academy at 6:30.  The children are so extremely excited to share all of their hard work with their parents!  There will also be tables set up with all of the extra-curricular activities that we are offering.  Master Chos' Tae Kwon Do, Monster's Gymnastics and Carma's Creations Dance will all be there with helpful information on the wonderful programs they are providing for our students.  Our year has kicked off to a great start, and we look forward to what lies ahead!  

Tae Kwon Do and Dance coming to Brighton!

Brighton Academy is bringing in two incredible extra-curricular activities for our students in the next couple of weeks!  Master Cho will be coming to our school on September 18th to do a demo class in Tae Kwon Do for the 3 & 4 year olds.  Such classes help children to learn self-defense moves, builds confidence within, as well as helps them to get exercise in a fun environment!  

We are also going to introduce a new ballet, dance & jazz class at our open house coming up on October 6th.  There needs to be at least 8 students signed up in each program in order for them to provide these wonderful classes.  We look forward to a great year here at Brighton, providing your children with activities that they will be able to utilize here at their own school.

First Day of School!

Our first day of school went great at Brighton!  All of the children and teachers are extremely excited about this new year ahead.  We also are providing before and after school care to Galatas Elementary and Sally K. Ride!  Looking forward to the many great things ahead!

Makeover for Brighton

Brighton Academy has recently re-branded itself.  We have been working hard to bring great, positive changes to this already excellent pre-school/daycare center.  Our new website has launched...... www.brightonacademykids.com , and once there, you will see our new logo!  We have made the changes around the center as well.....adding our new logo to our school van, & front door, along with other changes that help to add to our makeover, including the addition of a few new staff members to compliment the awesome staff already in place.  We would love for you to check out our new website, and come in for a tour of our facility if any childcare needs arise for you! 

Bright Futures Begin At Brighton!
