Our director & assistant director were nominated to do the #alsicebucketchallenge.  Teachers and children alike made donations to www.alsa.org, then drenched the two of them this afternoon.  Check out the video & more photos on our facebook page at www.facebook.com/BrightonAcademy.

Good Luck to all of our graduates starting Kindergarten this morning!

Love getting sweet notes & pictures from former parents who are sending their children off to Kindergarten for the first time. Addy is on to her new adventure, and her mom writes, "Her Daddy and I sent her off on her way this morning for a continuation of her educational journey. She was super excited to get on the yellow school bus. I was the one with the tears! I know she will be just fine. You guys built stepping stones for her independence and excitement to learn.
I have attached a couple of pictures for you to share. Tell everyone hi for us and know that we miss Brighton. Addy talks about you often!"

Prekindergarten Graduation

Congratulations to our prekindergarten graduates. We wish you all the best as you enter into this new season in your lives. Though you will be missed here at Brighton, we are confident you will all enjoy this new chapter, & will achieve much success! Come back to visit us throughout this next school year!

Happy Memorial Day

We come together on Memorial Day to honor the brave men and women who have given their lives for our country. As we reflect on their sacrifice and courage, we also celebrate the freedoms they preserved and the  opportunities they made possible. We are humbled by their valor and  service.

Pre-Kindergarten Field Trip!

Our Pre-Kindergarten students had the opportunity to go on a great field trip yesterday at The Children's Museum.  Such a great place that provides creative and imaginative play experiences along with daily interactive activities. They were able to explore and discover the open exhibits especially designed for them.  What a great day of learning and fun! 

Director for a Day!

Our little auction winner has enjoyed being a "Director for the Day!"  She has done an incredible job, and has had so much fun in her position for the day!

TOMS: A Day Without Shoes

Today, our children came to school with no shoes.  We observe "A Day Without Shoes" every year along with TOMS in order to to raise global awareness for children's health and education.
